Taciturn to Talkative – Shreyasi and Swarna!!!

I’ve always been known as a talkative guy among my old classmates – talking during class, talking during lunch break – talking all the time. Yet, there were few in the class with whom I hardly ever interacted with – two notable names being Shreyasi and Swarna.

“Shreyasi!? Who’s That???”
That was my response when Mainak told me about Shreyasi. However I racked my memory, I just couldn’t connect the name with a person. Finally, Mainak had to tell me she was our classmate in VIII class. I was like – was she really there? Actually, she was – and among those girls I hardly knew back then. So I guess I can say we’ve been friends only since last year – we met on May 10, as she reminded me on May 10 this year (I hardly remember such “anniversaries” – it’s always the girls who do).

Anyways, she has been one of my best friends over the year and (whether she likes it or not) the person who listened to all my escapades at college! Cheers, buddy!

“We were Classmates for 5 Years, But…….”
Very few would be willing to believe this. Swarna and I were classmates all the way from class VIII to class XII. Yet, we hardly had a decent enough talk during those five years. So passed the years – and we were not in touch (not unexpected, I believe). But, as it has happened in many other cases, orkut did the trick. Back in touch after years – and when I asked others to come to our reunion, she was one of the first to respond positively. Just goes to show one thing – no matter where we are, how we are, X-C would maintain a link between us.

So two girls who never talked to me in school have turned out to be quite interactive – maybe as they say, you realize the importance of someone only when they are no longer around…..
